Meet Adrienne Lyle and Wizard: Winners of the NEDA CDI-W Grand Prix Freestyle
By Lynndee Kemmet - Saugerties, New York -After taking a big win at the New England Fall Festival CDI-W, Idaho-based rider Adrienne Lyle and her partner Wizard are heading for their debut at Dressage at Devon. The 26-year-old rider, long-time assistant to Olympian Debbie McDonald, and Wizard recovered from their mistakes in Friday’s CDI Grand Prix at NEDA to win Saturday’s CDI Grand Prix Freestyle with a score of 74.925. Should International Caliber Show Grounds be Spread across the U.S.?
News of plans by the Wellington Equestrian Partners’ Equestrian Sports Productions for a new international quality show venue in Wellington, Florida, complete with a main covered ring that seats thousands, permanent barns and a condo resort for equestrian fans, is exiting news for the south Florida dressage community. Adding more dressage competitions to Florida is part of the ESP plan. Developers aim to create a new dressage series during the winter show season that would include several CDI competitions.
