Tori Polonitza took Seraphina MRF through the Second Level Test 3 (USDF Q) Dover Medal test on Saturday with a solid score of 72.317%.

I remember watching this lovely mare in her first show and seeing how very proud Tori was with her. I asked Tori about her experience in training and showing her own horse, and I wanted some background on Seraphina.

According to Tori, Doug and Shannon Langer of Maple Run Farm, Wisconsin bred Seraphina MRF. Seraphina is By Sinatra Song out Chenya by Contucci (Chenya is the full sister to Cabana Boy).

Tori Polonitza tells us about her experiences and her work with Seraphina MRF:

“I bought her as a 4 year old. She is an amazing mare. She comes out every day with the same consistent temperament and effort. Sera is better every ride than the last ride, and each show she is better than the last. Its like she gets “it” whatever the focus of the day’s lesson or goal may be and then she builds on that. The process is little bit by little bit. That’s the amazing part of who she is.

I have ridden all my life. I grew up in Southern California. As a child my riding was just trails, gymkhana, jumping and crazy kid stuff. Back then we jumped bareback, and we had 2 heights: Barrels up or Barrels down. That was until I moved to England in 1974 to pursue the British Horse Society Instructors Certificate. I received it, and returned to California in 1979. While in England I trained at the Yorkshire Riding Centre with Jane Bartle-Wilson, and have continued to train with her all these years with regular clinics in the US.

I have been training, breeding and teaching for 40 years now, and it’s been a great career and life. Most of my work fda fluoxetine 20 mg. fluoxetine price uk. medicine fluoxetine prozac weekly. fluoxetine cr 25 mg. buy cheap fluoxetine online how does fluoxetine cheats bulimia. has been starting youngsters and selling them on or giving them back to their owners. Sera is my chance to keep one for myself. And I feel so fortunate to have her.

Since getting Seraphina, I have trained weekly with Marilyn Heath and she has really helped me to stay focused on getting Sera’s basics right and bringing her systematically up the levels.

My focus has been to get Sera physically strong and get Sera’s mind right and keep it that way. To develop Sera’s work ethic and confidence in the ring and all the components that surround being a competitive dressage horse. From leading, tying, trailering to clipping, all is a teaching process. Even just getting used to being worked on by vets and standing quiet on the Theraplate requires her learning. I like my horses to be “user friendly. I use trail riding (alone with my phone) to expose her to the outside world and to get Sera used to being out there alone with just me to count on. I think if they can handle it, it really makes entering the arena easier.

Sera and I showed 2nd and 3rd level last year and had a great season, Regionals and then Nationals. It was such fun.

Going to the nationals was really a great experience. doxycycline 40 mg generic doxycycline overdose cheap doxycycline It is the biggest show I’ve been able to go to and the whole atmosphere is so different because everybody’s just so grateful to have gotten there. I was so honored to be there. Seraphina and I qualified for nationals at third level freestyle. We came in third with a 70% and I was so proud of her.

The way she handled the Altech arena and the entire venue was really something else. I felt so fortunate to be able to take her because I was able to experience how she handled the traveling, the cold and such a big venue, such a huge indoor with so many people. Just being surrounded by so many great horses and really good friends is always so much fun. Shannon Langer, Sera’s breeder, was there and was able to see Sera go. Shannon hadn’t seen Sera for two years, and I was because estrace has a generic alternative, no manufacturer-sponsored coupons are available . your ps card acts like an instant generic estrace 1 mg coupon,  just so happy to let her see how well she’s doing. I’m always so grateful for the breeders we have in the United States that produce these wonderful horses. The USDF did such a great job of making us all feel welcome and of course a big thank you to the sponsors Adequan, Smartpak and Standlee!

This season I hope to focus on better connection and increasing her collection and power. I’m hoping to start her at 4th level later this season. Along with Marilyn, I will be heading over to Wellington twice a month to work with Kathy Connelly and continue to work Sera once a week in the long lines with Michelle Gerlach. I feel so fortunate to live here in South Florida where there are so many great people to work with and help Sera and I along our way.

I could not pursue my career with horses if not for the support of my amazing family. I met my husband Barry 35 years ago, and we have two wonderful children, Austin 26 and Brynn 25, and they have all been so supportive all these years.”
